The instrument
Know what you are adopting
Read the official text
Each Accord is published as a structured diplomatic instrument: parts, articles, and a numbered index, drawing upon international human rights law, Indigenous jurisprudence, and the world’s ethical traditions.
Cite the version
Every adoption is bound to a frozen edition at a permanent address: the exact text, citable by part and article, never overwritten by a later edition.
Enter the register
Upon acceptance, each adoption is entered in the Foundation’s public register, and a certificate is frozen in the adopter’s name.
How to adopt
Read first, then send the instrument
Before you adopt, read the complete Accord and its Summary. Those two documents explain the purpose, the principles, and the peace the text is meant to serve.
Step 1
Read the Accord
The full official text.
Step 2
Study the Summary
What the text is for, in plain language.
Step 3
Choose
One Accord, or several.
Step 4
Send the instrument
Complete Adopt with your details.
Step 5
Receive the Certificate
After the Foundation accepts, it is sealed and emailed to you.
Already adopted? Request the retrieve link from Certificates. That link also lets you adopt further Accords. Certificates →
On Adopt, the instrument tells the Special Envoy Administration Office who you are (a person, organisation, institution, community, or government), how to reach you, which Accords you are adopting, and the name that should appear on your Certificate of Adoption and Acknowledgement.
Once that instrument is received and checked, the office prepares the Certificate, affixes the seals, and emails it to you. A name appears on Adoptions only after the Foundation accepts the instrument. If you ask, sealed and signed copies of the Accords themselves can follow.
Adoption is voluntary and not legally binding. It is a sincere acknowledgement of the principles in the text, and a willingness to support peace, dignity, trust, cooperation, and constructive relationships among people, communities, organisations, and nations. There is no fee to adopt.
For sealed copies or other help, write to the Special Envoy Administration Office at accords@newworldalliances.foundation.

Support
Supporting the Peace Accords
Adopting any of the 33 Global Peace Accords is free of charge. There is no adoption fee, membership fee, or compulsory donation.
Every person, family, community, organisation, institution, or government is welcome to read, study, and adopt one or more Accords without financial obligation.
If you are in a position to support the work of New World Alliances [Foundation], a voluntary donation is sincerely appreciated. NWA[F] is member-driven, and voluntary ambassadors and representatives give their time, knowledge, skills, and resources to help advance the cause of peace.
Every donation, regardless of its size, can help us to:
- Administer and expand the Peace Accords programme
- Prepare and issue adoption certificates
- Support communication, education, and public awareness
- Assist our voluntary ambassadors and representatives
- Develop peace-building initiatives in communities and nations
- Extend the message of peace, tolerance, trust, cooperation, and human dignity throughout the world
Making a donation is entirely voluntary. Choosing not to donate will never affect your ability to adopt an Accord or take part in this work.
If you are able to help, we thank you. Your support helps carry this cause to more people, communities, and nations. Together, through voluntary service, shared responsibility, and goodwill, we can help build a more peaceful world.
