Privacy Policy

This notice is about the Adopt form: the details you send, the certificate we generate, and the email we send to the address you supply.

New World Alliances [Foundation] is the depositary of the Global Peace Accords. When you adopt, you send an instrument — not a staff account. We hold what we need to check that instrument, issue a certificate, and write to you.

What we collect

On Adopt we ask for your name, organisation, organisation type, country, email, the Accords you tick, an optional request to stay off the public list, and a digital signature (drawn in the box or uploaded as a PNG or JPEG).

How we use it

  • To generate a frozen certificate PDF of that signing.
  • To email that certificate and a short-lived retrieve link to the address you supply.
  • So Foundation staff can check the instrument before any public listing.
  • After accept, to show a named organisation on Adoptions unless you asked us not to list the name. Anonymous accepts still count in totals.

Who sees it

Staff with a desk login can open the stored instrument. We do not give you a public password. Retrieve links in email expire after seven days; you can ask for a new link to the same email from Adopt. We do not put instrument files on a public URL.

How long we keep it

The certificate is the record of that signing. Later Accords are a new instrument, not a rewrite of an old file. Staff keep the identity on the submission so they can write to you, including when the public list does not show the name.

The Terms of adoption describe the checking step. Questions about this notice can go to the Foundation through the staff notify address used for new submissions.
